Meadows Creek 11th Annual Black & White Spring Forward Sale 2/21/26

Had the pleasure of working the mic at the Meadows Creek 11th Annual Black & White Spring Forward Sale. What a strong event from start to finish with an outstanding set of cattle and a packed house of buyers.

A special thank you to the Meadows and Collins families for hosting a first class sale and for the opportunity to be part of it. The quality and consistency in this year’s offering certainly showed in the averages:

• Angus 2 year olds averaged $9,144
• Angus yearlings averaged $6,671
• SimAngus bulls averaged $9,114
• Commercial bulls averaged $7,120
• Charolais yearling open heifers averaged $3,510

 The 2026 Louisiana Angus Association Bull Sale held on January 31, 2026 was a tremendous success!

A huge thank you to the consignors and supporters who worked with me through the challenges of rescheduling due to the recent ice storms. Your flexibility and commitment made all the difference.

We were excited to see a large crowd of buyers and supporters, both in person and online, competing for an elite offering of Angus bulls. The quality continues to speak for itself, and I truly appreciate the consignors who consistently bring top-end Angus genetics to this sale year after year.

Second High-Selling Bred Heifer: Lot 10A – Backroads Lady Lydia L322, AI safe to CLRWTR Clear Advantage H4G, sold for $7,100, consigned by Steve & Sam Ahrens of Back Roads Ranch. High-Selling Bulls: Lot 40 & Lot 44 – Flush mates, KBHR Honor HO60 sons out of the HHS Miss 836Z donor, both sold for $7,000, Larry Brantley of Brantley Cattle Co.
Once again, the Alabama & Mississippi Simmental Associations and Jeremie Ruble brought together an incredible group of breeders and consignors to showcase an elite offering of Simmental, SimAngus, and Angus genetics.

Southeast Classic Sale 4/19/25

It was a great day to be on the block as auctioneer for the renewed Southeast Classic Sale, held April 19th at South Alabama Stockyards in Brundidge, Alabama.
A special shoutout to Steve Williams and Lee Boyd for the vision and leadership it took to bring this sale back to life. Their efforts, along with Locke St. John and a strong group of consignors, made for a successful day—sending quality Simmental, SimAngus, and Angus genetics across Alabama and into surrounding states.

Always a pleasure to step behind the mic at the Meadows Creek Farm 10th Annual Black & White Spring Forward Bull Sale on 3/1/25. A big thank you to Richard Meadows and the entire Meadows family for hosting another well-run, high-quality event.

I had the honor of sharing the block with Will Meadows, who brought the cattle to life with his knowledge and passion—great teamwork and even better cattle!

Top-Selling Bulls: Charolais – Lots 1 & 17 brought $7,400, with the group averaging $5,904  SimAngus – Lot 28 led the way at $9,600, averaging an impressive $7,233  Angus – Lot 31 topped the group at $6,800, with an average of $5,667

Had a great day on the block at the Hunt’s H+ Brangus Bull & Female Sale on 2/22/25! Always a pleasure to work with the Hunt family quality Brangus cattle and even better people.

This year’s sale brought strong interest and solid bids across the board. Proud to call the sale and help connect quality genetics with serious cattlemen.

Top-selling bull: Lot 5, a standout son of TCB Catawba Warrior R532, brought $9,500 and deserved every bit of it!

Wrapped up the Louisiana Angus Association Sale on 1/25/23 where I had the honor of serving as both Auctioneer and Sale Manager. Always a privilege to work with solid cattle folks and committed breeders.
